Polling Day Reminders

I’m gonna keep this as simple as possible so everyone we know can understand what to do on Polling Day (aka The Day). As a first time voter, I am excited yet I fear for what may happen. We hope for change – regardless of the government, I believe we, the People are hoping for a better … Continue reading Polling Day Reminders

Sorry? What’s that? Can eat ah?

A year ago I wrote a post entitled “Sorry vs Your Pride” and you can read more by clicking this link. I took some time out and re-read my old post and laughed to myself because I can’t seem to remember what triggered me to write that post. I have no idea who that person was but … Continue reading Sorry? What’s that? Can eat ah?

Privilege – good or bad?

Privilege – good or bad?

Many of us believe that we all started out rough. When someone brings up a story, you confirm have some thing to up that person! (Imagine saying this out loud in that Cina accent you’re familiar with) For example, if someone says their dog died, you’d say I feel you – my fishes died too. … Continue reading Privilege – good or bad?

Always a pleasure to come back to my alma mater, University Malaya. This time, Hannah (@hanspatriech) and I were invited to judge the Quarter-Final Round of the Route to Moot Novice Moot Competition. The question was certainly interesting and makes one question, how far does a right to life go? To what extent can you hold one liable for medical negligence? And as a side note, what's racism? Congratulations @ummootclub for a successful event and to all the mooters who participated. This is your first step in mooting. Ps, this photograph was by @ummootclub #vsco #vscocam #mooting #UM
Posting this because it's really just for me. I don't think I'll feel this again because it's a once in a lifetime moment / feeling. After the lady passed me the keys, it just felt so surreal as if I was driving another person's car. The plastics were still on the seats and when I parked the car at my work place, I forgot how to lock the car because hey, this is a push-start car 😂 I thought getting a new car would be burdensome but I forgot that getting one also meant that I'd be a lot safer when I drove - no extra sounds after I pass the bumps, no wind sounds when I'm on the highway, no more shaking when a lorry passes me by anymore. I'm a little sentimental but I teared as I drove home last night thinking about all these. I only made it this far because of the people that love and support me - my family and my friends and in the recent weeks @aly30n @syafinas.ibrahim @davidtanjiaming @michyyling @zack_tkj for driving me when I have no car and of course, the expensive Grab 😂 But yeah, we made it. #vsco #vscocam #appreciationpost #feelings #TashaAndHerFirsts
Phuket was therapeutic and definitely worth the time, even though now we're all stressing and rushing with work 😂 #vsco #vscocam #photography #TashaFeels #TashaInPhuket #TashaInThailand
Last Saturday, the lot of us spent it by attending the Youth Economic Forum organised by the Perdana Fellows Alumni @pfellowsalumni. It was truly insightful for us because we got to hear various prominent speakers share their thoughts / take on important topics that shape not just the future but Malaysia at this very moment. I wish more could attend this event and by the end of it, I have one important question that I never got the chance to ask, particularly @syedsaddiq and it's this, "There is a consistent push for the youth to take control and the initiative to change the future, to change Malaysia. But, what is being done to change the MINDSETS of the old generations to accept change? To understand that the young are just as important and that lateral leadership is the way to go." If you think that this is an important question as well, feel free to share or tag any of the speakers from the Youth Economic Forum! #YEF #youtheconomicforum #Malaysia #Youth #vsco #LHAG

I had the honour of sharing my knowledge on the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 alongside my mentor, Darshendev Singh (@darshendev) to a full house audience today. The talk was titled "CIPAA: Maximising the Chances of Success". In addition, we had Albertus Aldio Primadi (@aldioprimadi) , International Case Counsel from the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) to share AIAC's take on Adjudication. Thank you to all who joined us today at LHAG (@lhagmy) . We certainly had a very interactive session with the audience. #LHAG #Construction #CIPAA #Adjudication
